April 30, 2011

We spotted this 1942 Buick Special on Telegraph Ave., on Friday April 29 and so we took some photos.  A friend of the owner said the vehicle has 69,000 original miles.  Since it is 69 years old; you do the math.

Rolls Royce with a flames paint job

February 21, 2011

Whenever we see a car with a flame paint job, we take a photo.  When we see a Rolls Royce waiting at a light that has a flame paint job (on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011), we ran out into the line of waiting cars to get these photos.  It’s not every day in Berkeley that you see a Rolls . . . let alone one with a flame paint job.

We had time for a bit of car-spotting while attending Bouchercon in San Francisco.  This class act seems to be a 1948 Rolls Royce.

In the morning we walked past a place on Lincoln Blvd., in Venice CA, that specializes in Bronco trucks.

Further along, we saw this Mercury.

At about 2 in the afternoon, we saw this Dodge Truck in traffic at Rose and Lincoln, in Venice CA.

A few minutes later, as we walked to Venice Beach, we saw this 59 Caddy convertable after we crossed Rose and Main.
