In the old days, newspapers, when they needed to show words but didn’t want to print the actual story (because it hadn’t been written yet) would use words in Latin.

Did they actually type excerpts from Ceaser’s Gallic Wars (or somesuch?) or did they just type the Latin Dictionary or what?
