Are T-shirts works of art?

October 25, 2012

How can a fan of the Rolling Stones show support for the Giants at AT&T Park?
We saw this T-shirt there Wednesday before the start of Game 1.

While looking at the wide variety of T-shirts on display by fans going to Game 1 of the World Series, we wondered when will an Art Museum ever present the first display of  “T-shirts as Art”?

It’s not every day that a Hernri-Cartier Bresson wanna be gets a grab shot with a bride, bikers, and the Beat Museum in it.  We got this shot recently in SF.  Did we already run it?

Waldo-spotting in San Francisco

April 6, 2011

Visitors to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, who have sharp eyes, might notice Waldo on the roof of a neighboring building.  He is right to the right of the gray oblong box that is just about dead center.  He is just under an air conditioning unit.

Trip to SFMOMA

January 5, 2011

The top two photos were taken at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in the roof plaza area.  The work of art is a giant slab of metal (slowly adding a venier of rust) that gains an added level of abstractness with the shaddow of a nearby building on it.

The lower photo is some gutter art from nearby.

It was a fun afternoon excursion on a sunny winter’s day.

Motorcycle Museum Restaurant

January 4, 2011

Eddie Rickenbacker’s in SF seems to be both a Motorcycle Museum and a Restaurant.  We didn’t get to try the food.  The prices seemed reasonable.

We will especially try to get our lawyer to this place.

If you have gone out “on the road,” then perhaps you don’t need to be told about the
