We noticed that the lunch truck food fad is going strong in San Francisco. We also noticed that their sign reminded us of our favorite German Country and Western band.

Nick’s cafe in Los Angeles was a great place to fuel up with a hot dog that was very tasty, big and not at all expensive. We had the kraut dog, recalled (with fondness) similar stops at Harry’s in Sydney, and then resumed our search for great car-spotting photo opportunities.
